Dear team,
Happy Earth Day!
Under President Biden, the U.S. has already rejoined the Paris Climate Accords and reversed Trump’s harmful rules that helped polluters destroy the environment.
But we all know that’s not enough: We need bold action from Congress to stop climate change, and that’s why I’m an original co-sponsor of the Green New Deal.
On this Earth Day, I’m calling on my colleagues in Congress to take action NOW on climate change. Join me by adding your name to this petition.
I’m fighting against climate change not just for my daughter Caitlin and her future, but for the millions of Americans who will be forced to relocate in the coming years and decades due to climate change.
I’m fighting against climate change for all of the families in the 11th District whose lives would be improved by access to union jobs with reliable wages in renewable energy.
I’m fighting against climate change because if we don’t act right now, it will be too late to save the planet for our children and grandchildren.
Investing in renewable energy means creating union jobs for the middle class and saving our planet, which is why I’m calling on my colleagues in Congress to take action NOW. Join me by signing on to this petition.
Yours in service,
Congressman Gerry Connolly
