Happy Earth Day! As Clark County approved a resolution in support of the federal initiative to protect 30% of our nation’s lands and waters by 2030 this week, we’ve also been hard at work tracking and testifying on legislation at the state level concerning the future of our climate and environment. That’s what this week’s Out in Front is all about, as we’re joined by some of our terrific partners to discuss conservation priorities, data, and news in our state this Earth Day, today, April 22nd! We’ll be on Facebook Live at 5:00PM, where our Executive Director, Annette Magnus, will once again be outside the building and speaking to Jennifer Cantley Field Consultant and Organizer with Moms Clean Air Force NV, then followed by Taylor Patterson with Native Voter Alliance of Nevada and Alexa Aispuro, Youth Community Organizer with Chispa NV, and finally BBP’s own Maria-Teresa Liebermann-Parraga, who will give a quick overview of the legislative process up to this point. Find us here and bring all your Earth Day questions for this special episode! Hope we’ll see you there, Will Pregman P.S.
