Dear National Park Advocate,

Park advocates like you know that national parks are on the front lines of climate change.

But you also know that the work of protecting national parks can bring people together from all walks of life -- and both sides of the aisle. Last year's bipartisan Great American Outdoors Act was proof that Americans will stand together to protect the things we all cherish.

As we join together to celebrate Earth Day, we can speak with one voice again and show that love for our parks -- and our planet -- can make a real difference.

This Earth Day, tell the Biden Administration that their “Build Back Better” agenda must include strong protections for national parks! The places that bring Americans together must be protected for future generations.

National parks are warming twice as fast as the rest of the country. Some of their most iconic plants and animals are on the brink of extinction. Lakes and rivers are drying up, glaciers are melting, beaches are eroding, and historic structures are crumbling.

But climate solutions that protect parks can be strong pillars of the Biden Administration's agenda if we speak out now.

- Protecting wildlife corridors and migration routes can help make sure that iconic species like the Yellowstone grizzly can thrive.

- Healthy wetlands and other green spaces can help filter pollution like haze and carbon -- clearing park air and protecting the climate.

- Transitioning to clean, renewable energy not only cuts greenhouse gas emissions, but could dramatically reduce the demand to drill for oil and gas on park borders.

Send an Earth Day message to the Biden Administration now and tell them to work toward climate solutions like these -- solutions that will protect America’s national parks for generations to come!

Park communities see climate threats every day -- and many of these communities are particularly vulnerable to climate change themselves. Our policies must be inclusive from the start, to ensure equitable climate solutions will address the unjust pollution and health burdens these communities face.

National parks bring us together as a nation. This Earth Day, let's show that the park community stands united in calling for climate solutions that will safeguard our parks.
