Friend,

Today is the 51st Earth Day. Our Great Lakes, our forests, our amazing agriculture, we have so much to celebrate here in Michigan.

But the climate crisis poses an unprecedented threat to Michigan’s environment. Beach erosion, historic flooding, crop damage, and even our physical health and well-being — our Michigan way of life is on the line.

So here’s the good news:

Michigan is well-positioned to emerge stronger than ever from this crisis. We are already one of the top states in the country for green jobs. We are making huge investments in clean energy and infrastructure.

We’ve taken important steps, but we’ve still got a ton of work to do. Today, on Earth Day, let’s recommit to taking this crisis head-on.

Can you add your name and join me in protecting our Michigan way of life? We can make a better future, but it won’t happen if we don’t act.

Thanks,

Debbie
