Imagine a safer, healthier future.
A future where electric vehicles and clean energy are the norm, lead water pipes are a thing of the past, and communities that used to be disproportionately impacted by air pollution and climate change are thriving.
This potential future is within our reach...but only if we take bold action now to slash climate pollution.
That’s why on the 51st anniversary of Earth Day we’re asking you to be bold and make a donation to drive lasting change for healthier communities and a thriving world.
Every dollar you give before midnight tonight will unlock two more, up to $51,000, tripling your impact in the fight for our climate future:

John, there have been moments throughout history where people have been able to transform the world for the better. That moment to tackle the climate crisis is right now.
And with you by our side I know we can work together to deliver meaningful wins on climate and public health.
Your gift will unleash bold action in three key areas, strategically chosen to maximize the impact of every dollar contributed by EDF members like you:
1) Electrify the transportation sector while cleaning up electricity generation by setting ambitious goals today. By 2035 we must ensure all new cars — and by 2040, all new trucks and buses -- sold in the U.S. must be zero emission, and ensure that the electric power is 100% clean by 2035.
2) Harness the power of nature to stabilize the climate with projects like the Mid-Barataria Sediment Diversion, the largest coastal restoration project in American history. This project would not only increase the climate resilience of the communities and wildlife of the Mississippi River Delta, but also repair the lasting damage caused by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
3) Slash methane pollution to supercharge planet-saving strategies. The fastest way to put the brakes on climate warming is to reduce methane pollution. Methane is a short-lived but powerful climate pollutant that has more than 80 times the warming power of carbon dioxide over the first 20 years. It's responsible for about one-quarter of the warming we're experiencing already today.
Don’t ever forget how powerful you are when you, and others like you, choose to take action together.
Please take action this Earth Day and have your gift matched twice, tripling your impact to continue our bold solutions and work to protect our planet:
