Friend,

Today is Earth Day—but for Josh, every day is Earth Day.

Climate change threatens the health of our people, the quality of our environment, our national security, and the strength of our economy. Josh knows we have to take action to protect our planet—not just today but every day.

That’s why he has:

Filed suit to ensure that DuPont and Chemours are held accountable for polluting our air and water with toxic forever chemicals,

Represented the NC Department of Environmental Quality to secure the largest coal ash excavation in US history,

Defended the Clean Power Plan and the Clean Car Standards in federal court from the Trump Administration’s assault on them, and

Opposed drilling for oil off North Carolina’s shores to protect not only our coastal ecosystems, but also tens of thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in economic activity in fishing and tourism.

And his work to protect our precious natural resources continues every day.

We can join him by taking action too:

Use reusable water bottles, shopping bags, coffee mugs, and more.

Compost food waste.

Walk, bike, or take public transit whenever possible.

Calculate your personal carbon footprint, and make changes to reduce it.

Speak up. Encourage your friends, family, and other elected officials to take action for the planet too.

Support Josh, so he can keep fighting for our planet.

Let’s make Earth Day every day.
