AHC Extends Rent Relief Policy for Residents
In response to ongoing challenges due to the pandemic, AHC Inc. and AHC Management are extending current rent relief programs, including suspending late fees and freezing rent increases, through September 30, 2021.
As of July 1, following all federal, state and local requirements, we will begin to re-instate pre-COVID eviction policies for residents who are not working with us to address outstanding rent balances.
We are encouraging residents to contact our Resident Services team to make sure we have ample time to do all we can to help families stay securely housed.
During the pandemic, our Resident Services team has connected with more than 3,000 of our residents to help them access nearly $3 million in rental assistance funds. We are committed to helping all those who still need help and are reaching out in multiple ways to reach those in need.

Celebrating Our Volunteers
Volunteers are the heart and soul of AHC's programs. This week, we are celebrating the 250 volunteers who regularly support our programs and also the more than 100 new volunteers who jumped in to help during the pandemic by distributing much-needed food, making masks and more.
We could not provide all the support we do without the generous support from volunteers. We are immeasurably grateful. Check out our Instagram for more images/news: https://www.instagram.com/ahc_inc/.
In addition to celebrating all the 2020-2021 volunteers, AHC Inc. would like to applaud the individuals whose service to AHC and its communities has reached five- and fifteen-year anniversaries. Those being honored include volunteer tutors of five years Tom Dunlap, Ryan Hoang, and Sahar Kazmi, and fifteen-year veteran Terron Sims II, who over the years have helped students of different ages achieve their educational goals. Help Promote Affordable Housing Along Lee Highway
Lee Highway is one of Arlington’s major east-west arterial streets, spanning the full length of the County from Rosslyn to East Falls Church. The County, along with the Lee Highway Alliance, is asking for public input on how the corridor will be developed.
Please consider attending one of the virtual community meetings in April and May to advocate for affordable housing as part of the Lee Highway development plan.
