With Republicans enacting outrageous voter suppression laws in Georgia, Arizona, and other states across the country, we need action in Washington more than ever to protect the vote.

Yesterday, I chaired a hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee on the issue of voting rights.

We heard from leaders like Stacey Abrams and Senator Raphael Warnock about the common sense solutions we can take to ensure we maintain a strong democracy with fair, free elections.

The right to vote is fundamental -- and I am determined to pass strong voter protections.

But in order to get this done, I need folks like you speaking up and speaking out with me.
