Friend, On this Earth Day 2021, we stand at a crossroads. The need for urgent climate action cannot be overstated. Scientists continue to warn about the accelerating pace of global warming, and Canada still does not have a climate plan bold enough to do our part to halt rising global temperatures. So,we have a decision to make. Do we continue down the same old road, hoping for different results? Or do we seize the chance of a lifetime to launch a Green and Just Recovery? The Green Party has a positive and progressive plan to reduce GHG emissions, repair the pandemic’s economic damage, create the jobs of the future, and complete Canada’s social safety net. CANADA NEEDS A REAL CLIMATE PLAN This moment calls for us all to come together to implement bold, ambitious solutions. The urgent need for climate leadership is why I know the Green Party is the party for this moment – a party committed to working in collaboration for a healthy and just world. This is the chance of a lifetime. Greens won’t let Canada miss it.
