Hey there — we need your opinion on legalizing marijuana.

Americans across age groups, but particularly young people, overwhelmingly support legalizing marijuana nationwide. Over the past few decades, we’ve seen how drug laws are often unevenly applied, and can have an especially harmful impact on Black Americans and people of color.

Many believe that marijuana prohibition represents the politics of the past, and younger Americans are more likely to view legalization as an opportunity to reform our criminal justice system while generating revenue and jobs for the next generation.

In a time of incredible polarization, marijuana legalization is something that Democrats, Republicans, and Independents support across the board.

Younger Americans have helped to drive a significant shift in our country’s attitude towards marijuana legalization, and we need to continue gathering data to understand exactly where people stand.
