Governor DeWine Appoints Hudak to? Cleveland Municipal Court?
(COLUMBUS, Ohio)?Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the judicial appointment of Nathan J. Hudak to the Cleveland Municipal Court.
Hudak, of Cleveland, will assume office on May 3, 2021, and will be replacing Judge Emanuella D. Groves, who was elected to a different bench. Hudak will need to run for election in November 2021 for the full term commencing January 4, 2022.
Hudak holds a Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame.
Hudak served as a mentor with College Now Greater Cleveland and was a member of the MidTown Cleveland, Inc. Board of Trustees. He is also a past graduate of the Downtown Cleveland Alliance- City Advocates program and the Cleveland Bridge Builders leadership development program.
Hudak served as a Senior Manager at Destination Cleveland from June 2015 to May 2020, where he was a member of their convention sales team. In this role, he used his legal and business knowledge to market Cleveland as a premier convention destination and to drive economic impact into the region.
Hudak has additional experience in the private sector, where he was an attorney at Cowden & Humphrey Co. LPA from 2006 to 2015, specializing in counseling clients on transactional legal matters related to corporate law and governance, entrepreneurial services, finance, securities, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate and development.
