Remember how Spanish-speaking communities in South Florida were bombarded with disinformation ahead of the 2020 election? It’s happening again -- but this time, the lies aren’t just being spread on digital platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Bad actors are using another medium to pump lies into our homes: PUBLIC RADIO . Unfortunately, this is happening in Florida as we speak.

We did some digging and found 459,968 Latinxs who (A) voted in 2020 and (B) likely listen to public radio in Florida.

It’s crucial that we reach these voters in particular -- in 2020, the swing from Democrat to Republican in Miami-Dade County (which has a large Latinx population) spiked to over 20 points .

Clearly, the rampant disinformation about Joe Biden and other Democrats had the intended effect.

This is the sole reason we launched our Anti-Disinformation Lab. We knew bad actors wouldn’t stop spreading their lies in our communities. We’re ready to fight, but you need your help. Can you make a quick contribution to our work?
