I just got a look at the first-quarter fundraising reports.

The good news: Thanks to our incredible team, Susan kicked off her campaign strong.

The bad news: Lisa Scheller, the far-right Republican who Susan narrowly defeated last year, just wrote her campaign a check for $500,000 -- that's right -- HALF A MILLION DOLLARS IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF A NON-ELECTION YEAR.

Friend, this is a real problem. We had a great first quarter, thanks to grassroots supporters like you, but our Republican opponent is already spending hundreds of thousands from her personal bank account in a blatant attempt to buy this seat. Can you rush a contribution to help us close the gap?

I’m not going to lie to you - these big numbers are worrisome. Scheller’s personal finance disclosures indicate her net worth is near $25 Million - and she’s ready to spend it to buy this seat in Congress.

Scheller is also using her personal bank account to bankroll local candidates for school board and county councils, sending mailers out on their behalf to voters with her own name and face on them -- more than a year and a half before the Congressional election!

Last year, Scheller had the endorsements of Donald Trump, Don Jr., Kevin McCarthy, and more far-right Republican leaders. She ran a nasty campaign to smear Susan and mislead voters about Susan’s record in Congress. And we can expect to see more of the same as the NRCC doubles down on taking back the House.

We have to stand with Susan and fight back against Republicans to show them that this seat and our democracy are NOT FOR SALE. Will you rush a donation to Susan’s campaign today to fight back?
