President Bush appeared on NPR Morning Edition, NBC's TODAY Show, CBS Sunday Morning, and wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post in which he discusses how to restore confidence in America's immigration system and his new book Out of Many, One: Portraits of America’s Immigrants.

Live on the TODAY Plaza this morning, 30 COVID-19 front-line workers became U.S. citizens with President and Mrs. Bush in attendance. President Bush told them: “…most of you were already citizens before you became a citizen — on the front line of helping Americans deal with a severe pandemic. It really speaks to your soul and your spirit, and it reminds me of how fortunate we are to have you as citizens.”
