** Virtual How To: Lights, Camera, Action - Presenting Yourself on Zoom
------------------------------------------------------------
The Career Center welcomes you to our Zoom lighting Webinar. When you are interviewing, teaching, giving a presentation or even auditioning for a job via Zoom or any other virtual platform, first impressions are everything. This means your lighting, background and the colors you are wearing is part of your preparation. Learn from a professional lighting designer how you can create the best setting for these experiences.

There will be an informational portion and an interactive portion.
To get the most out this, it will be helpful if you have some of the following objects on hand:
* Any lighting you have set up for video conferencing
* Any extra lamps you have including table lamps, floor lamps, goose neck lamps, clear Christmas lights…
* Materials you can use to shape the light: aluminum foil, wax paper, diffusion, and binder clips
* Materials you can use to bounce light: card board, scrap white paper, poster board...

About our Speaker:
------------------------------------------------------------
Lighting For Every Day was born out of Lighting Designer Kathrine R Mitchell’s conversations with her friends and family which revealed a deep need for better understanding of the lighting we interact with every day. Through the educational blog, one on one zoom sessions, group workshops, custom offerings, and online courses (coming soon), Lighting for Every Day helps you get the most out of your lighting. Kathrine has designed lighting for theatre, television, retail, restaurants, and homes for over a decade and is passionate about the importance and impact of good lighting in our every day lives. She loves collaborating to create immersive storytelling and environments that make people feel.
