John --

We need more AAPI representation. This fact has been made especially clear in the past year where we're seen a sharp uptick in anti-Asian hate crimes and even more clear recently with the actions of our current administration.

We are lacking AAPI representation on the Cabinet, and until President Joe Biden pursued greater diversity, Senators Tammy Duckworth and Mazie Hirono vowed to vote no on any nominees that do not reflect the diversity that was promised.

It was only then that the White House said they will add a senior level Asian American Pacific Islander liaison. And while this is progress, AAPI representation should not be treated as an afterthought. It should not be put on the back burner. It needs to be a priority.

With everything our community has experienced in the past year, it is important to have a voice at every level of government. That's why we're asking supporters like you for your immediate input now:

Do you believe we need diverse AAPI representation at all levels of government?

YES   NO

We appreciate you standing by us as we fight for a more inclusive and representative democracy.
