Folks,
Growing up in southwest Virginia, I know what it’s like to be the only Democrat in the room. I know that Democrats didn’t lose rural Virginia overnight, and I know that we aren’t going to win it back overnight, either.
Still, we know you’ll never win a district you don’t run in. That’s why I’m so proud to have a record number of Democrats running for the House of Delegates this year . But with more Democrats stepping up to run, we’re going to need more help from grassroots supporters like you to make sure all of them have the resources they need to run successful races. Will you chip in $10 today to help Virginia Democrats be competitive everywhere across the Commonwealth?

Make no mistake -- our Democratic majority is at stake here. GOP candidates for governor have outraised our Democratic candidates 2 to 1. Incumbent Democrats in the House of Delegates are being outraised by political newcomers. With millionaires almost single-handedly funding many of the GOP’s campaigns, we need to be competitive everywhere if we want to keep our majority. Now with more Democrats running than ever before, we can’t allow ourselves to fall behind in competitive districts.
That’s where you come in.
The grassroots is how Democrats changed Virginia. Folks like you, who chip in what they can, are how we bridge the funding gap between people-backed Democrats and millionaire-backed Republicans.
We’re running everywhere this year. Will you chip in whatever you can so we can not only defend our majority but watch it grow?
