Donate to the Spring Athlete Fund

In your community and throughout the country, Special Olympics athletes are staying fit at home and preparing to take the field as soon as it’s safe again. They’re eager, excited and ready, so we need to make sure our events and competitions come back stronger than ever.

That’s why we’re kicking off a crucial $5,000 goal for our Spring Athlete Fund! When you donate $25, you help athletes train at home today and ensure they have everything they need to get back in the game later this year.

Plus, every dollar you give right now brings us that much closer to reaching our goal! Don’t wait –– make your goal gift now >>

We know sports — including virtual fitness programs — can be a catalyst for change for athletes like Alex.

When the pandemic began, Alex was anxious and lonely. His powerlifting and bowling practices were cancelled. He wasn’t surrounded by the Special Olympics community that had embraced him and given him purpose. He missed his routine, his friends, and the joy of sports.

Thanks to the support of people like you, we were able to move quickly and reach athletes like Alex in new ways during this difficult time. We started virtual events and trainings, like recurring remote fitness classes, to help athletes stay in shape and connect with each other.

These virtual programs have helped ease the anxiety and loneliness for athletes during the pandemic. Now, we need your support to keep them strong until Alex and the millions of other Special Olympics athletes around the world can return to play –– all it takes is a gift of $25 and two minutes of your time.

Your donation to the Spring Athlete Fund helps keep our virtual programs up and running and helps us plan for in-person events once it’s safe again. Now let’s reach this $5,000 goal together!

Thank you,

The Team at Special Olympics
