Big pharma is hell-bent on killing a plan that will make sure everyone has
access to a Covid vaccine, fast.
It’ll all come down to whether the US government caves to Big Pharma.
Let’s help them to back life-saving Covid cures for everyone instead:

John,
In just a few weeks, governments will vote on a game-changing plan that
would allow countries to make their own, cheaper versions of Covid
vaccines and treatments. This is our best chance to end the crushing
vaccine inequality we’re currently facing.
Big Pharma is doing everything it can to prevent its vaccine secrets being
shared, and are pulling out all the stops to kill it. The US is the key
vote -- and the new US trade chief just told them to back off. That could
be the opportunity we need.
Let’s show President Biden and the rest of the government that there’s
overwhelming public support for this life-saving plan:

just the rich!
Today 1 in 4 people in rich countries are vaccinated, but in lower income
countries only 1 in 500! And if this plan gets killed, millions won’t get
vaccinated until 2024. That means millions of people needlessly getting
sick or dying. And it increases the chances of a new, deadlier strain of
the virus emerging.
Big pharma’s army of lobbyists are going to try and strong-arm the US
government to block the plan and protect their profits. But we can drown
out their lobbyists with our voices.
And if the US backs this plan, other countries like the UK and France will
be under pressure to follow suit. This plan is our best chance of making
sure everyone can access a vaccine, not just those in countries rich
enough to afford it:

chance to save millions of lives!
