Hey John —

I’m the daughter of an immigrant, a single mother of two who survived on Medicaid, earned my college degree online while working a full-time job — and now, I’m running for Lt. Governor because I know my story is not unique.

For too long, our government hasn’t worked for families like mine or thousands of other working folks across the Commonwealth.

It’s allowed the rich to get richer while those below the poverty line stay there. It’s permitted dangerous leaders like Donald Trump to fan the flames of white supremacy and racism. And it’s kept too many Americans from having a seat at the table.

Well, I’ve had enough. It’s past time we had a leader who looks like the people of Virginia, and will fight for them, too. So, I’m pulling my chair up to this table and demanding a system that works for all Virginians and working families. And John, I’m asking you to join me.

So if you can, will you chip in $10, or any amount, to our campaign for Lt. Governor today? The primary is only a few weeks away so every dollar counts.
