For 25 years, ADL in Concert Against Hate has shared the remarkable stories of individuals who have endured tragedy, demonstrated courage and inspired resilience in the face of hate and bigotry. Their narratives shine a light through a darkness that we see and feel all too often in our communities and across society.

We continue to face growing challenges in the fight against hate – but this November 4th, our movement will come together in celebration and recognition. We invite you to join us in lifting up stories of hope, perseverance and triumph – because now more than ever, we have a responsibility to one another to find the strength and determination to keep fighting hate for good.

This year at the Concert we will be honoring four individuals who together demonstrate that we all have a role to play in stopping the defamation of the Jewish people and securing justice and fair treatment to all. The honorees at the 25th Anniversary ADL in Concert Against Hate will be:

Judge Thomas Buergenthal

Having survived the horrors of the Holocaust, he went on to preside as a judge at the International Court of Justice, and has tirelessly advocated for human rights on the world stage.

Taylor Dumpson

Elected American University’s first black woman student body president, she faced down racism on her campus and harassment online — today she is breaking ground to hold those who targeted her accountable for their actions.

Mia Yamamoto

Born in a World War II Japanese internment camp, navigating the world as a transgender woman, she has overcome the barriers and obstacles placed in her way because of her identity, to fight for justice and equal representation.

Claire Sarnowski
Inspired by her interactions with a survivor of the Shoah, as a high school student, she spearheaded the legislative effort earlier this year to mandate that students in Oregon learn the lessons of the Holocaust in their classrooms.

It is sure to be an amazing evening of reflection, storytelling and music—and we can not wait to see you there!
