Hi John,

Over the next few weeks, our campaign to fight for vaccine access in the global south will be heating up again. Pharmaceutical corporations will be hosting their annual shareholder meetings and governments will be returning to the negotiation table to discuss the proposal to suspend patent rules during the pandemic.

Take action - Help us build pressure on big pharma.
Sign the petition
We are working with the global People’s Vaccine alliance to mobilise people from across the world to focus our pressure on the pharmaceutical corporations who are aggressively preventing global south producers from making the vaccine.

The world is facing grotesque vaccine inequality - 86% of global vaccinations have so far been administered in the richest countries in the world, while only 0.2% have been given in low-income countries. This is not the time for profiteering.

We are calling on big pharma to share their technology and know-how to mobilise as many manufacturers as possible to make vaccine doses that can reach all countries - not just the richest ones.

Add your name to our petition to force companies to co-operate.

If you have a twitter account, you can also join in with the People’s Vaccine global action too to call on the big pharma CEOs to join the WHO initiative, Covid-19 Technology Access Pool (C-TAP) to facilitate the sharing of technology and know-how so the world can ramp up supplies to the global south.

Help ensure Covid-19 vaccines are available to everyone, everywhere

It’s vitally important that Covid-19 vaccine patents are suspended during the pandemic, and for big pharma to share their know-how globally, as the best way of ensuring there are enough vaccines for everyone everywhere.

Regular gifts give us the long-term stability to plan effective campaigns and the flexibility to respond to crises like these.
