Sandro has safely reached his sanctuary forever home in Italy!

What a contrast to life in a cramped and barren zoo in Spain. The stunning 15-year-old tiger seems relaxed and happy, and is settling in well.

We’ll report back soon with some more photos of beautiful Sandro.
