Friends,
Thirty-three! That's the number of days until Election Day. Participating in canvasses and phone banks, contributing at fundraisers, and attending community forums are a few ways in which you can make a difference in favor of our Democratic candidates. Take a look at the listing of events below and find an opportunity.
For a complete listing of events or to add your own event, visit our Calendar.
Top priority: volunteer to support our 2019 Democratic candidates or Fairfax County and General Assembly offices! Click here to find an opportunity.
The League of Women Voters-Fairfax Area has a candidate forum tonight (Thursday) at 7:00pm at Pohick Regional Library, 6450 Sydenstricker Rd, Burke. Linda Sperling, Laura Jane Cohen and Kathy Tran would no doubt appreciate seeing some friendly faces in the audience tonight.
The Fairfax Government Center absentee voting location is open Monday through Saturday and it's critical that we have volunteers there to inform our voters. Please help staff this important effort by clicking HERE.
Tomorrow: Come to a canvass launch with Senator Tim Kaine in nearby Woodbridge! Click here for info.
Be sure to visit our affiliate website - Don'tTrumpFairfax.com - to help expose the extreme Fairfax GOP.

Spotlight: Local Democrats running in 2019
This is a big year for local and state elections in Fairfax County and Virginia. Fairfax County has a total fifty-three Democratic candidates and seventy-six unique ballots. Each ballot includes thirteen offices plus the school bond referendum. There are nine countywide candidates, one district supervisor, one district school board member, one state senator and one delegate. Eleven of the offices on the ballots do not include a “D” or “R” next to the candidates’ names. Be sure to pickup our Democratic sample ballot at your polling place as an aid in making your voting choices. Click here for more information.
