John—

George Floyd should be alive today.

Today, the jury saw George Floyd's death for what it was: murder.

But there is no verdict that can bring him back, or deliver true justice.

As a movement, we join the Floyd family in calling for the U.S. Senate to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act. This is a key step toward stopping police violence.

Demand action now: Tell your U.S. senators to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act.

There is nothing the jury could have said today to deliver full justice to the Floyd family, but this was important nonetheless. And we need to keep fighting for systemic change. Just last week, a few miles from the trial of George Floyd's killer, 20-year-old Daunte Wright was shot and killed by a police officer. These events are the inevitable results of systemic racism and white supremacy in American policing and policy. We need to do everything we can to ensure this violence never happens again.

Send a message to your U.S. senators: Pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act now.

Thank you for being a part of this movement, and thank you for honoring George Floyd's life with action.
