Yesterday, Republican leaders from every corner of New York gathered at the capitol to meet with potential 2022 gubernatorial candidates and kick off our nomination process to select the person who will defeat Andrew Cuomo and SAVE OUR STATE!

It was an exciting day filled with energy and enthusiasm for the great slate of candidates who are interested in running for governor. We heard from almost 10 potential candidates representing many different backgrounds and parts of our great state.

One thing is clear: any one of them would be a better governor than lying, corrupt Andrew Cuomo. And New Yorkers wholeheartedly agree. A damning new poll showed Cuomo's approval ratings are at their lowest point ever and a majority of New Yorkers want a new governor.

The New York Republican Party is prepared to make that happen because we know we can't afford another term of disastrous Democrat governors who are destroying our economy, our public safety, and our freedoms.
