John,

This morning, the Biden administration officially came out in strong support of H.R. 51, which would make Washington, D.C., the 51st state!

All of Oregon's Democratic Congressional Delegation – our four Oregon Democrats in the House of Representatives and Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley – are co-sponsors of the bills to make D.C. the 51st state.

The House is scheduled to vote on H.R. 51 on Thursday. Will you add your name to support making Washington, D.C., the 51st state? [[link removed]]

The House passed H.R. 51 in 2020, but with Mitch McConnell in control of the Senate and Donald Trump in the White House, the bill died shortly after.

But now, thanks to your support, Democrats are in control of the House and Senate, and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are in the White House!

Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has promised that the Senate will hold a vote on making Washington, D.C., the 51st state.

With the House preparing to vote on H.R. 51 this week, add your name to support D.C. Statehood! [[link removed]]

Thank you,
