To attend the meeting, you must:

1. Register on Zoom by April 25 at 11:59pm. Registrants can expect to receive instructions for joining the Zoom call by April 27.
2. Be a current or former PA member.* Unlike for in-person meetings, we will not be able to accept membership renewals "at the door" in order to limit virtual attendance to current members. Please renew your membership or join by April 25th at 11:59pm to attend.

*You must be a current member to vote in the meeting. First-time members are eligible to vote in People's Alliance meetings 30 days after the member’s initial enrollment. People’s Alliance PAC Membership Meeting

Under election and tax laws, the PA 501c(4) and PA Political Action Committee (PAC) operate as separate organizations with separate governing bodies, but share the same membership. The PAC will be meeting right after the PA membership meeting ends on Thursday, April 29, around 7:30pm. Read more about the PAC’s agenda on their website.

Carolina Federation: Building a People’s Platform

Join the Carolina Federation, Siembra NC, Raise Up NC, Down Home NC, Durham for All, and the North Carolina Association of Educators to imagine what it would look like to have a North Carolina that worked for all of us.

At a time when politicians are too often in the pockets of big corporations or stoking hate to stay in power, we need a government for the people, by the people. That’s why people across North Carolina are coming together in 2021 to build a People’s Platform. Between now and November, folks will be deciding on concrete policy proposals for seven platform planks: 

• Democracy for All
• Economy for All
• Safety and Justice for All
• Healthcare for All
• Education for All
• Homes for All
• Environment for All

On Wednesday, April 28, 7:30 - 9:00pm, join the launch of this People’s Platform Process. You’ll meet people from across North Carolina committed to this vision, share with each other struggles and hopes, and commit together to take action to build the platform.
