Hundreds of organizers, community members, and volunteers flocked to key counties in Georgia just five months ago to mobilize AAPI voters in the Senate runoffs.
Not only did we elect two strong leaders to secure the Democratic majority in the Senate, we also witnessed record voter turnout in this election from the AAPI community.
But Governor Brian Kemp has since threatened one of the most integral pillars of our democracy, free and fair elections, by authorizing a bill that is designed to disenfranchise communities of color -- including the AAPI community.
