Melanie is an unrelenting advocate for our communities. From overturning archaic anti-choice laws, to securing funding for early childhood education, to protecting our precious public lands, Melanie has shown she’ll never stop fighting for what’s best for New Mexico.
In the state legislature, Melanie has focused on ending childhood hunger, improving education, modernizing our electric grid, expanding economic opportunity, protecting public safety, and ensuring equal access to healthcare. We know she’ll fight for these issues and more in Congress.
As many of you know, Martin was the very first Democrat to represent this historically red district. While we’ve made a lot of progress since then, this seat is far from guaranteed — and with pundits predicting Republicans will take back the House next year, it’s on us to make sure this seat stays blue.
