But first, we want to share with you some exciting Morningside news:
We've added two amazing new members to our Board. Welcome, Gisela Alvarez and Miyoko Brunner!

Gisela Alvarez led the Donors’ Education Collaborative at The New York Community Trust, where she worked to improve New York City's public schools through system-wide policy reform.
Miyoko Brunner is Interim Development Director at City University of New York School of Law, where she manages fundraising in support of student opportunities, clinical programs, and special initiatives.

Are you teaching about Earth Day? You can find our whole collection, including brand new lessons on student climate activism, on electric cars, on teaching climate change outside of science class, and more.
During the past weeks and months, our nation has witnessed an onslaught of upsetting and, at times, triggering events.
In this lesson students practice identifying and using stress management strategies to better cope with upsetting news.
In this activity, students hear the
story of one Asian American family, consider some key dates in the history of racism against Asian Americans, and learn about and discuss their own family history.
There is no such thing as a single-issue struggle because we do not live single-issue lives."
