Hi John,
Over the next few weeks, pharmaceutical corporations, Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, Moderna and AstraZeneca will be in the spotlight again as they hold their AGMs. As the media attention turns to their financial results, we want to use this opportunity to build the power of affected communities to demand a People’s Vaccine.
Come along and hear the experiences of Eldred - a Covid survivor from India, Tom - healthcare worker from Kenya, and Izzie - a cystic fibrosis patient from the UK.
If you haven't yet, register for our event Big Pharma: Your profits, our lives on Wednesday 21 April, 5pm.

And if you have registered, please help us spread the word by sharing this link with your friends: https://gju.st/3tDek40
We invited the CEOs of some of the major vaccine companies to attend this event to bring the demands of affected communities directly to the companies. So far, they have not responded to our invitations but we will continue to meet to show solidarity to healthcare workers, covid survivors, vulnerable patients and trial volunteers.
Join us to find out how you can help put pressure on big pharma over the next few weeks.
Best wishes

Hi John,
It’s a great relief that priority groups in the UK have now had their first dose but while the vaccine programme gathers pace here, countries in the global south are struggling to access doses. Less than 2% of Covid-19 vaccines administered globally so far have been given in sub-Saharan Africa, leaving millions of healthcare workers risking their lives in the fight against the virus. [1]
As pharmaceutical corporations hold their AGMs in the coming weeks, we are teaming up with our friends from Just Treatment, STOPAIDS, Frontline AIDS and HealthGap to host a People's Vaccine Alliance event with healthcare workers, vaccine volunteers and patients from around the world.

We have invited the CEOs of some of the major vaccine companies to attend this event to bring the demands of affected communities directly to the companies.
Through the monopolies they hold and their refusal to widely share the knowledge of how to make the vaccines, pharmaceutical companies are restricting the scale up of supply that we need to ensure that everyone, everywhere can get access.
Please come along too and show your solidarity to healthcare workers, covid survivors, vulnerable patients and trial volunteers as we demand a People’s Vaccine not a profit vaccine.

Help ensure Covid-19 vaccines are available to everyone, everywhere
It’s vitally important that Covid-19 vaccine patents are suspended during the pandemic, and for big pharma to share their know-how globally, as the best way of ensuring there are enough vaccines for everyone everywhere.
Regular gifts give us the long-term stability to plan effective campaigns and the flexibility to respond to crises like these.
