"3 wounded in shooting after argument at East L.A. bar"

"2 people arrested after a fatal mall shooting in Omaha, Nebraska"

"4 people shot at vigil on Detroit’s east side"

"1 dead, 5 wounded in shooting at Ohio vigil, sheriff's office says"

"Man arrested in connection with Wisconsin shooting that killed 3 people, injured 3 others"

"3 people were killed in a shooting in Austin, Texas. The suspect, a former sheriff's deputy, was arrested after a daylong manhunt."

These headlines encompass only some of the high-profile instances of gun violence our country experienced this weekend alone . But they don't encompass the lives that are forever changed because our country refuses to act.
