It’s simple: Everyone should have access to reproductive health care, as well as birth control and sex education.
As a proud former Board Member of Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, Ro has always stood by and advocated for a person’s right to choose. But unfortunately, we still have a tremendous amount of work to do to safeguard access to reproductive health care – especially for women.
The right to choose is a fundamental constitutional right that is protected under the 14th Amendment, and should be safeguarded as a matter of privacy.
But in dozens of states, GOP lawmakers are disregarding constitutional precedent and passing sweeping bills that would dramatically restrict abortion access.
Over 48 years after Roe v. Wade, reproductive rights are still under attack. Together we must fight unconstitutional abortion bans so that everyone has the autonomy to make their own health care decisions.
