Five Massachusetts Republican candidates are trying to overturn Seth’s election in Massachusetts’ 6th district by clinging to the same “big lie” pushed by Donald Trump and his far-right supporters.

They’ve filed a lawsuit to overturn the 2020 election results and ban mail-in and early voting.

A national push by the GOP to eliminate mail-in and early voting is in full swing. In fact, in over 40 states, Republican lawmakers have crafted legislation that would dramatically change how Americans make their voices heard in future elections. Some proposals even grant Republican-controlled state legislatures the ability to overturn election results -- something Trump tried to coerce Congress into doing after he lost in 2020.
