friend,

Three weeks ago we launched our call to rename Buchanan Hall. With 300 signatures and growing, it is evident that the George Mason community, along with allies across the nation, is serious about our demands. Changing the name of Buchanan hall is a step toward reclaiming George Mason University for the common good and changing its tainted pro-private interest legacy.

It’s past time for George Mason University and other colleges and universities to end their complicity in putting profit over people. There are real-world consequences associated with accepting Koch dollars. Our climate is in crisis, there are widespread obstacles to workers’ ability to organize, and our federal judiciary is packed with radical right-wing judges.

Sign your name now and help us keep the pressure on George Mason University. Our people-powered movement isn’t going anywhere!

In solidarity,

Cassidy Pollard

UnKoch My Campus is a project dedicated to disrupting corporate influence on campuses nationwide by equipping campus activists with education, skills, and ecosystems of solidarity. The Koch network is leveraging its donations to colleges and universities to bolster its corporate agenda to halt action on climate change, put hundreds of thousands of people in prison, deny millions of people healthcare, and strip rights and wages from workers globally. We're building a mass movement of young people who are dedicated to disrupting this harm.
