Did you hear the news? Former Republican Governor Pat McCrory is officially entering the race for U.S. Senate in North Carolina. Will you chip in $10 or whatever you can afford to help us stop Pat McCrory?

Despite serving as Governor of North Carolina, McCrory is going around telling folks he's an "outsider."

Now look y'all, lots of people are giving him a hard time for that — but from where I'm sitting, Pat McCrory just doesn't know how right he is.

Pat McCrory is an outsider — Just like *so* many other candidates in this race, he's an outsider to families who want to put food on their table without tapping into their retirement funds.

Pat McCrory is an outsider to workers across North Carolina who need a living wage and teachers who deserve a raise. And he's an outsider to Black and Brown communities who want to see our government value our lives as well as our votes.

But guess what? Pat McCrory is an *insider* to corporations, special interests, and the same broken establishment that hordes their own wealth at the expense of the rest of us.

It's time for bold, progressive change in North Carolina — not more of the same.

North Carolina will be one of the *most* competitive races in the country in 2022, and we're going to need your early support to stand up to insider, establishment candidates like Pat McCrory and their deep-pocketed allies.
