You're invited to my Human Trafficking Symposium this Tuesday, October 8 in Houston.
At the symposium, attendees will hear from law enforcement and human trafficking experts on how to recognize and address human trafficking. They will also hear from representatives of nonprofits and other organizations dedicated to spreading awareness and helping victims. There will be multiple panels focused on everything from real-life experiences to finding solutions for victims.
Human trafficking is an atrocious crime that plagues Houston far more than people know. It's a manipulative, disgusting and deceitful act, but it can be stopped. That's why I'm hosting this symposium to educate Houstonians on how to identify and prevent human trafficking. When it comes to human trafficking, recognizing the signs can save a person's life.
