two women working in climate victory garden

Dear Friend,

Have you started your Climate Victory Garden yet?

Whether or not your plants are in the ground, you can add your current or planned garden to our map of over 8,000 gardens worldwide that are working to build a better planet. It’s free!

Then it’s time to get planting. For aspiring and experienced gardeners alike, this is a time of anticipation and planning. It’s a time of choosing what to grow, preparing soils, and buying supplies. It’s also a good time to consider what practices and methods are being used in the garden, because growing food and flowers can be part of the climate solution if done right.

And, it’s easy! If you’re gardening, chances are you’re already on the right track. If you’re new to gardening, we have some tips for getting started on the right foot.

No matter where you live or how much space you have (even if you live in an apartment), your garden can be part of the movement of thousands of individuals across the country (and world!) who are gardening for the climate.

Climate Victory Gardens are having a real impact on the planet.

How does Climate Victory Gardening work?

We harness the power of plants and natural processes to pull carbon from the air and capture it in the soil where it belongs. Learn more about how it works

To ensure your garden is having the biggest impact, consider the Climate Victory Gardening practices, which help you maximize carbon capture and minimize climate impact.
