Get Involved!
Start Here:
Did you know nearly 92 MILLION eligible Americans did not go to the polls in the 2016 presidential election? We're on a mission to get more people ready to vote in local, state, and federal elections — and use their voice to protect our reproductive health care and rights.

There's just too much at stake in the upcoming elections when it comes to reproductive rights, access to birth control, immigration, women's rights, education...the list goes on. We can't afford to lose critical elections because voters didn't turn out.

Can we rely on you to take 30 seconds to make sure your voter registration is up-to-date — or to register to vote?
More Time? Do This:
1 Since Alexis McGill Johnson was named Planned Parenthood's Acting President this past August, she has continued her decades-long work in reproductive rights. Read about Alexis's meeting with Black women leaders, her history with Planned Parenthood, fighting the Trump administration's gag rule — and more.
2 Fact: Planned Parenthood organizations have taken over 250 actions to support Title X and protect access to care at Planned Parenthood health centers in the last year. Also fact: We're inspired by all the activists (you!) that turn out, time after time, to #ProtectX. Check out these amazing photos of supporters vowing to #StandWithPP and protect our access to health care. Thanks for staying in this fight.
Get Loud
When access to affordable and effective methods of contraception goes up, the rate of unintended pregnancy — and the need for abortion — goes down. Baseless abortion restrictions aren't part of the equation.

This shouldn't be up for debate. #BansOffMyBody

#GettingMeThrough
Big ups to Austin, TX lawmakers for #GettingMeThrough this week! As of Tuesday, the city of Austin will pass along $150,000 worth of funds to go towards non-profits that provide logistical support services for folks seeking abortions. These include childcare, lodging, and transportation.

This is an effort to push back against a new Texas statewide law that bans local governments from giving money to groups that provide abortions, which went into effect last month.

Here's to hoping other lawmakers follow Austin's example of creative problem solving to help vulnerable populations in their communities! Read more about how Austin lawmakers made these funds a reality.
