Friend - Immigration is a Black issue.

For this week’s Undeniable Video series - I’d like you to meet Cindy - a DACA recipient, part-time student and lab tech. As a Black, undocumented woman, Cindy believes in the power of her story and wants to show other undocu folks that they’re not alone by telling it. A pathway to citizenship would give Cindy relief from the threat of deportation and allow her to better plan for her future as a lab tech. We have the power to win a pathway to citizenship for Cindy and other Black undocu folks like her. Three bills in the Senate right now - the Dream Act, the Secure Act, and the Farm Workforce Modernization Act - would provide permanent protection for Cindy and 5 million others.
