Last weekend, thousands of Virginians came together for our annual Pride Festival in Richmond.

And for the first time ever, the City of Richmond flew a Philadelphia Pride flag, which celebrates LGBTQ+ folks of color, and the transgender pride flag on Brown’s Island.

And just last month, Mayor Stoney and the City Council passed a resolution in support of banning harmful conversion therapy in Richmond.

Mayor Stoney is proud to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community, not just during Pride, but every day.

Ensuring that everyone is treated equally and fairly regardless of their sexual or gender identity is an essential part of One Richmond, a city that works for everyone.
