John,
Two Christian nurses face LIFE IN PRISON over a sticker.
These are two more innocent Christian lives in grave danger under Pakistan’s barbaric blasphemy laws.

A Muslim nurse falsely accused the two Christian women of blasphemy for supposedly scraping an old deteriorating sticker containing a verse from the Quran from a hospital cabinet.
An irate Muslim mob demanded they be arrested. Now both Christian women sit in jail. If convicted, under Pakistan’s grossly unjust laws, they face LIFE IN PRISON. For a sticker.
Such blasphemy charges often result in death sentences, like in the case of Asia Bibi, the Christian mom who the ACLJ successfully advocated for her freedom after she was sentenced to hang for drinking water meant for Muslim co-workers.
This violent persecution of Christians led – at the ACLJ’s urging – to the Trump Administration placing Pakistan on a persecution watchlist. Now, we’re working with former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in his new role as ACLJ Senior Counsel for Global Affairs to defend persecuted Christians – including at the U.N.
The ACLJ continues to work, including through our affiliated office on the ground in Pakistan, to defend Christians facing the worst atrocities. We’re already preparing our next U.N. filings.
But we need you to take action now.
