Hi Global Citizen,

Healthy oceans are vital to clean air and to combat climate change, yet humans
are polluting our oceans at an alarming rate. We need to find innovative ways
to keep plastic waste out of our oceans and off our beaches.

In tonight’s episode of ACTIVATE — "Ending Plastic Pollution" — Darren Criss
takes action to save the oceans and the most vulnerable people who depend on
them. He travels to the Philippines, where he joins a local beach clean-up,
works to collect and sort trash from residents, and asks individuals,
governments, and businesses to commit to reducing plastic waste.

You can tune in tonight on the National Geographic channel at 10 p.m. ET / 9
p.m. CT or on the ACTIVATE hub

partner P&G is using technology and smart partnerships to tackle ocean
pollution around the world
