It can't be said enough: Election Day 2022 may seem far off, but far-right Republicans aren't wasting any time. And this election cycle, they have their eyes on a huge number of key races.

Here's a list of just some of their prime targets:

+ Senator Raphael Warnock
+ Senator Catherine Cortez-Masto
+ Senator Mark Kelly
+ Governor Gretchen Whitmer


And this is to say nothing of their attempts to undo the slim Democratic House majority. We have a lot of work to do if we're going to stop them, friend.

The amount of resources that far-right Super PACs, conservative activists, and key Republican officials will pour into these battleground states is mind-boggling. President Trump is holed up at Mar-A-Lago raising money to elect more of his loyalists to Congress, and the Republican National Committee is doing the same across the country.

Democrats won by a narrow margin in 2020, but we know Republicans are desperate to win back power in 2022, even if it means cashing in favors with billionaire donors and passing oppressive voter suppression laws.

We need to build a grassroots army of supporters to rise up against the onslaught they're going to throw at us. Holding the line and expanding Democratic control of these key battlegrounds will give us the chance to enact progressive policies and create good-paying jobs, protect our planet, and put dignity and equity at the heart of American life. If we fail, we could lose all of that and more.
