John,
Expanding access to health care in the age of COVID-19 is incredibly important. Health care is a human right, and no one should go bankrupt or die because they can’t afford it – not in a pandemic or ever.
But during the pandemic, millions of Americans have lost access to their jobs and their health care. And while over 30 million Americans are stranded without health care, insurance and pharmaceutical executives have raked in billions of dollars in profits, which they use to lobby against Medicare for All.
But now that Medicare for All has been reintroduced in Congress by Reps. Pramila Jayapal and Debbie Dingell, we have the chance to pass historic legislation recognizing health care as a vital human right.
Congress needs to hear us loud and clear that the American people want Medicare for All. Tell Congress to support Medicare for All and ensure that every person is guaranteed quality health care regardless of their ability to pay.

Every person deserves access to health care. That’s a basic human right in any time. But in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s more important than ever to take powerful action to ensure it.
And with Medicare for All recently re-introduced in the House, our Medicare for All movement has more support than at any other time in U.S. history. Medicare for All is supported by 70% of Americans and 85% of Democrats. And it is already co-sponsored by half of the Democratic caucus in the House of Representatives.
It would be a big mistake for Congress to pass up this opportunity to transform our health care system for the better. That’s why we’ve joined a progressive coalition of voices calling for expanding universal access to health care by passing Medicare for All.
We’re trying to reach a critical goal of 200,000 grassroots voices in support of Medicare for All. Will you help by adding your name?
