Of the five candidates that ran to lead the Colorado GOP, four undermined faith in our elections by claiming the 2020 election was stolen. This is wrong.

Even after many federal judges from both parties affirmed the safety and fairness of the 2020 presidential election, the GOP chair candidates still spread misinformation and claimed the election was stolen, simply because they do not like the outcome and are trying to spread the “Big Lie.”

This is misinformation. This is dangerous. This led to violence.

If this is what the GOP will say openly, we worry about what they say behind closed doors. Without the assurance that our elections are free and fair, our democracy is in danger.
