Just over 100 days have passed since Michelle Steel took office. So, we want to give you a little side-by-side comparison of a few of the things she's done versus what Harley would have done...
Steel voted against the American Rescue Plan, a monumental plan that hugely benefits Orange County by supporting our small businesses, helping distribute vaccines, and reopening our schools. Harley firmly backed the plan and would have voted yes on it.
Steel voted against the Equality Act, which protects LGBTQ Americans from discrimination in critical areas of their lives. Harley co-sponsored this bill and was completely behind it.
Steel is for the 2017 Trump tax plan that actually raised taxes for many Orange County families. Harley wants to bring back the State and Local Tax Deduction, while also making sure we don't raise taxes on small businesses.
Harley will fight for Orange County. In fact, for him, fighting for Orange County is much more important than toeing the party line.
Will you help him represent Orange County once again by donating right now?
Thank you!!!
-- Team Rouda
Harley Rouda served California's 48th district in Congress. In 2018, Harley defeated the 30-year incumbent Dana Rohrabacher in the very first political campaign of Harley's life. During his time in Congress, he's embraced common sense and values to tackle climate change, address deteriorating infrastructure, confront homelessness, and protect Social Security and Medicare. In 2022, Harley will be facing one of the toughest fights in the entire country, so he's depending on the support of grassroots individuals. If you want to support Harley's re-election, you can donate here. If you'd like to no longer receive emails from his campaign, you can unsubscribe.
