We Couldn't Do It Without Our Volunteers
April 18 - 24 is National Volunteer Week.
This special week is meant to recognize the important role volunteerism plays in our communities, our culture, and our country. As President Biden said yesterday in his National Volunteer Week Proclamation:
"We are living in a moment that calls for hope and light and love. Hope for our futures, light to see our way forward, and love for one another. Volunteers provide all three. Service — the act of looking out for one another — is part of who we are as a Nation. Our commitment to service reflects our understanding that we can best meet our challenges when we join together. This week, we recognize the enduring contributions of our Nation’s volunteers and encourage more Americans to join their ranks."

Here at Soldiers' Angels, our volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization and we couldn't be more grateful for everything they do in support of the military and veteran community.

Join Soldiers' Angels on Social Media for National Volunteer Week!
To honor our volunteers this week we will be highlighting a handful of the thousands of Soldiers' Angels volunteers from around the world who work to serve the military and veteran community through rain, snow, sleet, and even a pandemic. We will also share details on how you can get involved and begin your volunteer journey as an Angel.
Here's what we have planned for the week:
- Highlight Soldiers' Angels volunteers from across the country, past and present
- Honor Soldiers' Angels volunteers recognized as Volunteers of the Year by the VA's National Advisory Council
- Recognize the 398 national volunteers and 7 international volunteers who earned (or qualified for) The President's Volunteer Service Award in 2020
- Unveil the first-ever Soldiers' Angels Donor and Volunteer of the Quarter
- Showcase the talents of our Angel volunteers via the 2nd Annual Virtual Talent Show on Facebook LIVE Wednesday, April 21st at 2 pm CST
- Share some of our many virtual and in-person volunteer opportunities and how you can get involved

Popcorn Has Landed!
Thank you all for your support of our recent Boy Scouts Popcorn for the Troops shipping campaign! Thanks to your generosity and the incredible donation from Boy Scouts of America and Trail's End, we were able to ship popcorn to service members and veterans! Boy Scouts/Trail's End has donated over 1,200 PALLETS of delicious popcorn to Soldiers' Angels between December 2020 and April 2021!
