There have been 1.69 million doses administered statewide in Kansas. The number of Kansans that are fully vaccinated totals 690,000 (23.7%), and 35% have received at least one dose. It's thanks to Governor Kelly's rollout strategy that Kansas is having so much success. 

However, POC communities rank disproportionately low in percentage vaccinated. To improve the state's vaccination distribution network and protect every Kansan, Governor Kelly led Kansas' new COVID-19 Vaccine Equity Task Force in its first meeting on Wednesday. The creation of this task force is another landmark achievement in Governor Kelly's vaccine rollout strategy. Governor Kelly established that the Vaccine Equity Task Force can supply valuable translated information about Covid-19, as well as provide access to vaccine sites, sign-up instructions, and readily available information on the vaccination process.
